The Canoga Park Neighborhood Council Elections are TODAY from 2pm to 8pm at the Canoga Park Community Center (MAP).
Come and vote for the candidates of your choice. Those that are elected will be YOUR voice to the LA City Council for the next four years. We are your neighbors who have volunteered for this service to our community.
You may be wondering if you are a stakeholder. According to our Bylaws:
“Stakeholders” shall be defined as those who live, work, or own real property in the neighborhood and also to those who declare a stake in the neighborhood as a community interest stakeholder, defined as a person who affirms a substantial and ongoing participation within the Neighborhood Council’s boundaries and who may be in a community organization such as, but not limited to, educational, non-profit and or/religious organizations.
Basically, if you are reading this, you are probably a stakeholder of the Canoga Park Neighborhood Council. When you come to vote, be sure to bring with you the proper documentation to prove you live, work, own property, or can claim a factual basis in Canoga Park.
