The Grove project at Columbus Middle School is a large-scale organic edible garden, outdoor classroom, eco lab, orchard, and native ecosystem. Phase One of the project build, the organic edible garden, has been completed and Phase Two began July 1. Funding was granted for Phase One of the Grove project and was used to purchase building materials for the edible garden, including wood for garden beds, soil, irrigation supplies, and more.
