Los Angeles Metro is set to close the Van Nuys G Line Station for three years, beginning Friday, February 21, 2025, to facilitate major infrastructure improvements. This closure is part of a $668 million upgrade to the 18-mile Metro “G Line” Bus Line (BRT), aimed at enhancing travel efficiency and reducing traffic congestion.
The station parking lot and adjacent bike path will also be closed as part of the long-term construction project. Riders will need to use temporary bus stops and plan for longer commute times due to detours.
